Hi there! I’m SUE, a watercolor illustrator based in South Korea.

I’m drawn to the soft colors of watercolor, the texture of paper, and the warmth of making things by hand. Inspired by changing seasons, picture books, and fantasy, I create gentle, story-driven illustrations with a touch of whimsy.

I hope my work can bring a little warmth and joy to everyday moments. I love creating images that leave room for imagination—something that might make you pause, smile, and wonder about the story behind the picture.

I also enjoy creating animal characters and the worlds they inhabit. One of my ongoing personal projects is SOMSOM, a little rabbit from Sweet Island, a whimsical world made of desserts. I’ve developed SOMSOM’s stories through picture books, comics, stationery, and other creative projects.

My work has included picture books, school textbooks, educational materials, character design, and illustrated products. I’m always interested in exploring new stories and bringing imaginative ideas to life through illustration.
